I. Application :

FKDL2000 cable fault distance locator is a kind of Integrated testing apparatus , which is made from the fault detecting test host, cable path tracing signal generator, cable tracing path signal receiver and cable fault locator, etc.The host machine, including the integrated computer, the low-voltage pulse generator, and the data processor, is used to test fault distance and measure cable length and wave propagation velocity in cable.The sine wave signal with frequency of 30KHz and amplitude peak of 30V produced by path signal generator is used to find the cable path.Path signal receiver is used for receiving the signal path, and used to find the cable louding and estimate the cable burial depth. Fault locator is used for fault exact positioning.The detecting way of the has three kinds of LV impulse method, impulse HV flash-over method, multiple pulse method. The optional part is DC high voltage booster and control cabinet , which is used for providing a breakdown voltage to enlarge the insulation damaged and easily repairing .

The Integrated testing apparatus is able to test cable fault at different voltage levels below 35KV. It can test cable fault of different cable sections, different dielectric and different cable materials. Can test open-circuit cable fault, short-circuit cable fault, low-resistance cable fault, high-resistance leakage cable fault and high-resistance flash-over cable fault.
